Steve Hunt
The founder of SR Hunt Consulting, Steve has trained hundreds of users and helped scores of small companies as a computer consultant and database developer for over 30 years. His databases have helped start-ups raise capital and fostered the growth of the MIIA Health Benefits Trust from 6 to over 160 Massachusetts communities and public entities.
Steve’s professional experiences range from teaching software to graphic designers, engineers and administrators, to writing, design, and database development, to entrepreneurship and management.
Educated at Brown and Boston University, with degrees in Computer Science and Business, his unassuming approach allows customers to communicate easily and good ideas to flourish.
Shawn Blanchard
Shawn joined SR Hunt Consulting in 2008. His keen sense of urgency and practicality, appreciation of small business, and commitment to following-up, communicating, and not leaving loose-ends has served dozens of clients well ever since.
Clients appreciate Shawn’s calm, non-technical verbal approach and his technical expertise to solve their problems. His interest in maximum efficiency translates into a no-nonsense approach to balancing urgent requests with routine maintenance and long-term efforts.
Following graduation from Bentley University with a degree in Finance and course work in Computer Science, Shawn worked as an assistant controller at a local advertising firm. Tasked with managing AP, AR, and improving cash flow, he later took on managing internal IT support for its 25 users over the course of three ownership transitions.
