What We Do
We offer full-service IT support for many of our clients. For some, our involvement may be limited to outsourced network support, web and email management, or logistics for a start-up or move. We’ve also helped clients move and grow across many time zones over more than 30 years of practice.
Our clients range from sole proprietors to businesses of up to 50 employees, operating in design, photography, advertising, publishing, hospitality, professional services, research, education and training, healthcare and insurance, and niche wholesale and retail. Most clients stay with us for years; many have for decades.
Our primary audience are firms in the Greater Boston area that are predominantly Apple device users, though we routinely support Windows PCs and VMs in those environments.
Practical Solutions for Business Needs
Before we recommend or do anything, we take time to learn about your business. We ask and listen: What are the issues? What are the facts? What are the contingencies?
Our process is succinct but thorough, informed by our experience dealing with a wide variety of problems and clients. When standardized solutions make sense, we’ll recommend them. In cases where a more customized approach would better address specific needs and still be cost-effective, we’ll suggest that instead. Our goal is to build a relationship with your firm that you can count on to tame your IT issues at an affordable price.
Desktops, Servers, Mobile Devices
Timely support, preventive maintenance, proactive planning, and effective implementation all help to keep your systems running and end-users happy and able to get their work done.
Network Support
One or more sites, with support for remote and on-premises users, computers, phones, displays, devices; all tied to broadband, wired, and wireless networks that need to be fast, secure, and reliable.
Data Security and Compliance
Data security boils down to understanding precisely what data must be protected and adopting the best technical and procedural practices to do so.
Compliance tests your environment and assumptions, and validates whether your policies, procedures, and controls are up to the task and truly effective.
Transition Support
Start-up, expansion, moving, selling, or winding-down: all phases of business that benefit from having an experienced partner to help manage the IT side of the transition; someone who can balance the goals, timelines, and budgets that must address competing needs.
Email, DNS and Hosting Support
Whether you are setting up email under your own domain for the first time, switching providers, or integrating email with other platforms, we have the experience and resources to help you pick and maintain a good option.
